Scotland, and Edinburgh has quickly become one of my favorite destinations.  In my perfect world, any trip to the England would still start in Edinburgh for a day or two before taking the easy train to points south and London.

Edinburgh offers a gentle welcome to the UK.  It has gorgeous architecture like London without the crowds and hustle and bustle. Edinburgh is a foodie paradise, and plenty of pubs serving great beer and whisky.  In my book, it is the perfect place to shake off some jetlag before commencing on a larger trip.

Considered one of Edinburgh’s most stylish hotels and restaurant, the Bonham drips of sophistication.  Perfectly located in the exclusive West End of Edinburgh, request a room with a stunning view of the Drumsheugh Gardens or if you prefer, look out towards the Firth of Forth and the Kingdom of Fife.

Flying from the US, you typically arrive in the morning, just in time to enjoy their famous Boozy Snoozy lunch. Served Friday, Saturday and Sunday, it is a 3-course affair including a half bottle of wine per person!  I can’ think of a better arrival to a Scottish or UK Holiday than that!
